Two posts in one day! I know, crazy right? It’s just been a busy week getting ready for my mom and grandmother to fly in tomorrow. Got behind on the posting and updating of the LEGO Advent Calendar and LEGO Classic Advent Calendar posts, too. Not making excuses, but yea… I’m making excuses. Anywho… Registration for the January 2017 LEGO Monthly Mini Build opens tomorrow at 9am EST. Make sure to set your alarms!
How To Sign-Up – January 2017 LEGO Monthly Mini Build Registration
If you can’t see the photo above for the January 2017 LEGO Monthly Mini Build, it is a narwhal! I love me some narwhals. I used to think narwhals weren’t real, until I saw photos of them on the World Wildlife Fund:
If you’re kids (or you) think they’re mythical creatures too, you should go read this article and learn more about the “Unicorn of the Sea”!
That’s your lesson for the day… moving on…
You can register for the January 2017 LEGO Monthly Mini Build through the LEGO website here:
https://shop.lego.com/en-US/minibuild-registration
When you click on the above link, you *should* be presented with a “Sign Up” button. After you click the button, it will take you to the actual signup form.
The event dates are Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 and Wednesday, January 4th, 2017.
Also, there is a new wait list system in place to allow those who didn’t get a slot a chance at one when someone cancels. If you can’t make it, make sure you cancel for those that want to attend!
Important Change in 2016 for the LEGO Monthly Mini Build Program
Finally, it’s important to note: the monthly mini model build events are now only open to registered LEGO VIP members. This means, if you are not a VIP member, don’t expect to be able to register. If you don’t have a VIP account, it can take up to 2 days for the account to register on all their systems online, so I recommend you get one setup today. You can register for a VIP account at: https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Register
By the way, I send reminders to register for those that asked while signing up for the weekly newsletter. Sometimes I do forget, because it’s not an automated process and of course, I’m only human. However, if you’d like to be on that list for next month, make sure to add your email below:
