This month I hated to miss the December 2015 LEGO Monthly Mini Build Submarine, because it was just too cute. (I know, I know… all you guys out there are cringing at the word… but aren’t *all* mini builds “cute” just in size? Just sayin’…)
At 28 pieces, while small, it is a solid little build. I can imagine tons of play time with our LEGO Friends mini dolls… although I think I will end up doing some modifications so there is an actual cockpit for a doll or minifigure to sit in. Don’t ask me how… still thinking about that myself…
Most of the parts are fairly standard, with the exception of the ball joints. I don’t see those very often, but they were used for the wings of the parrot earlier this year. You may also have some trouble finding a transparent dome like that as you won’t see it in the standard creative boxes LEGO puts out. If you buy sets though, you’ve probably come across one or two of them.
I’ll be sifting through our LEGO bricks to make my own.
Without further ado, let’s checkout the last build of 2015…
