You’re probably wondering when I’m going to run out of winter seasonal-themed posts, but I saw so many good things this past year! I can’t imagine that happening anytime soon. For example, check out this awesome LEGO Architecture Advent Calendar MOC. How could I not share this with you guys?
LEGO Architecture Advent Calendar MOC Description
This MOC is created by the same person who created the Christmas Skyline MOC I wrote about previously. Here’s the full description of the build:

Create your own LEGO Architecture Advent Calendar with all the classic sets in micro scale. The design file includes the following 24 builds…
(Emphasis above added by me. I’ll share these with you a little later in the post.)
Interested in rebricking it from your own collection? You can download instructions here.
Or if you’d rather buy the full kit, they have it for sale here:

Wait are there really that many Lego Architecture sets?
You noticed that in the description, too, huh? I have the exact same question so I decided to do some research.
As it turns out there are actually 56 sets in the LEGO Architecture series as of the time of this post. Since there is only space for 24 builds in an advent calendar, it looks like they selected the most distinguishable ones from all of the builds.
Some of these builds, while found as their own larger set, are also part of some of the skyline sets or were created as smaller versions. You can check out a few of the official counterparts below:
- The 77-piece Empire State Building and the 1767-piece Empire State Building, also modeled in the New York skyline set
- Statue of Liberty, also modeled in the New York skyline set
- Trafalgar Square
- US Capitol
- Sungnyemun
- LEGO House
- Tower of Pisa
- Marina Bay Sands
- The John Hancock Center, also modeled in the Chicago skyline set
- Guggenheim Museum
- Shanghai Tower modeled in Shanghai skyline set
- Fallingwater
- The Eiffel Tower, also found in the Paris skyline
- Rockefeller Center
- The 346-piece Big Ben and the 4163-piece Big Ben, also modeled in the London skyline
- Sydney Opera House
- Brandenburg Gate
- Willis/Sears Tower, also modeled in the Chicago skyline
- Robie House
- Taj Mahal
- Great Wall of China
- Seattle Space Needle
- UN Headquarters
- The Burg Khalifa, also found in the Dubai skyline
Notice, the list includes the Taj Mahal. While not technically a LEGO Architecture set, it does lend itself well to the theme. All in all, I feel the selected models were a good fit and it is very well done.
Would be fun to see a future version that allows you to select your own advent calendar builds from a larger list of potential mini MOCs.
