Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make.
Thanks for your help!
Updated for 2023…
It’s been long coming, but this is the last in a series of posts titled The Ultimate List of LEGO Holiday Sets. This is probably the longest post of them all, as LEGO ornaments are in that sweet price point no one thinks twice of picking up. They also make excellent stocking stuffers. LEGO made sure to make a ton of them over the years… and I do mean a ton! BTW, this post contains affiliate links at no additional charge to you, of course.
So without further ado, here’s the list of LEGO ornaments I found…
A new release for 2023, you can decorate with these delightful LEGO Gingerbread Ornaments (40642)! This kit features three adorable gingerbread figures waiting to be assembled. Created with the intent to encourage you to customize each figure, you can craft unique designs… all without getting your fingers messy with icing!
Released in 2022, the delightful LEGO Penguin and Snowflake ornaments are a fun addition to your Christmas tree. The penguin is adorned in a colorful scarf and cute earmuffs. Meanwhile, the snowflake is designed with fun translucent blue pieces to add some sparkle.
While this set is no longer available on Shop@Home, you can pick it up on Amazon.
The LEGO Polar Bear & Gift Pack (40494) were released in 2021! Delightfully festive, this set adds a polar bear sporting a cheery red and green scarf alongside a beautifully wrapped gift with movable ribbons, golden stickers, and an adorable “With love to” gift tag for your Christmas tree. You could also place them wherever you desire to infuse your space with a delightful LEGO seasonal touch.
These Christmas decorations are some of my favorite sets each holiday season. This year, LEGO decided to release a new version of the Santa Clause bauble, using one of the newer pieces released since their 2013 and 2009 versions of this ornament.
This LEGO reindeer ornament, like the Santa Clause ornament, is a redesign of the 2018 and 2013 versions previously released. This version is definitely cute and going on our Christmas tree.
Released in 2019, the LEGO Toy Soldier Ornament is a lovely new addition to the ornament series. During this last holiday, LEGO released them to their website and they immediately sold out. Sadly, had a hard time finding them on Amazon as well. Hope you get your hands on one… they are super cute!
Released in 2018, this set wasn’t in stores for very long. The iconic penguin build with Santa hat sitting on an ice cap came and went in little over a year. Hopefully you were lucky enough to pick it up. If you weren’t, you can grab it now on Amazon.com.
In 2018, LEGO released this Christmas Ornament Reindeer Head, free with qualifying purchase. This was another one of those we didn’t pick up for ourselves, but you might still be able to find it on Amazon for your own collection.
Released in 2018, exclusively in UK LEGOLAND parks, this train build is does a great job of complimenting the other LEGO ornament builds previously released. Not available in any stores outside of those parks, you’ll have to look on Amazon or eBay to find this prize.
Released in 2017, this iconic LEGO Snowman ornament build comes with a cute top hat and a nice little tile that looks like 3 pieces of coal. Discontinued in 2019, you’ll have to pick this one up on Amazon.com.
This ornament is a 2016 LEGO exclusive available with a qualifying purchase at LEGO stores. We missed out on getting ours, but one of our friends said it was a simple and fun build. She enjoys him tons.
This ornament was a 2015 LEGO exclusive, free with qualifying purchases online and in LEGO stores. It came in a green satin bag, similar to the LEGO Christmas Train Ornament below. We passed on picking up this one, as we could make the tree from pieces we already own (aside from the tile printed “2015”). However, if you must have this set for your collection, you can pick it up on Amazon.
This ornament was a 2014 LEGO VIP exclusive for select VIPs. It’s tiny, but cute and we enjoy seeing ours on the Christmas tree. You won’t be able to find this one in stores, but you can get your own on Amazon or eBay.
Depending on the year, you might see several variations of this bauble, with bricks in green, red, gold and white. Sometimes you only get one color for the whole year. So if you like these baubles, I recommend you pick them up when you can! The baubles are great ornaments and can be used for freebuilding as well. You can find these on Amazon or eBay.
This is one of my favorite baubles, with a cute reindeer on white snow. Issued for the 2013 holiday season, this bauble sold out fairly quickly. Who can resist a reindeer? We modified ours and added a red nose… Rudolph is the favorite, after all. You can find this bauble on Amazon or eBay.
This was a 2013 LEGO Friends bauble. We purchased this one for our daughter, but not for our own Christmas tree. Just doesn’t seem festive, aside from the snow on the roof and ground. Not very popular, so you might not be able to find it on Amazon. You should try eBay instead if you truly need to have this bauble.
You can put a little “rawr” in your Christmas with this LEGO Creator T-Rex Holiday Bauble. Released in 2013, this bauble was already retired. However, you can still find it on Amazon or eBay.
Definitely the bauble for LEGO City lovers, this fire truck holiday bauble is a 2013 release. It’s an awesome little mini build that really gets the point across. Since it’s retired, you might be able to find it on Amazon or eBay.
Similar to the ones before this released in 2009, the 2013 version of the LEGO Santa Holiday Bauble features just one Santa build holding an ornament. The build is slightly improved upon as well. You can find this bauble on Amazon or eBay.
This is my absolute favorite of all the baubles! The LEGO Christmas Snow Hut Ornament is the best of all the builds, if you ask me. Issued in 2014, these disappeared fast from the LEGO stores. LEGO did release them one more time in 2016, but I haven’t seen them since.
If you can find it, you can pick up the snow hut on Amazon.
This Christmas tree build was issued in 2013. We unfortunately missed it, but if you come across it, it’s a cute little build to add to your collection. While it’s retired, you can still find it on Amazon or eBay.
LEGO 3 Christmas Decorations (4759)
This set is from much earlier than any of the other sets you’ve seen. Released in 2004, they were a seasonal set sold in stores and Shop@Home. Hard to find now, even on Amazon and eBay, but if you want to make these at home, you’re not out of luck! Most of the parts can be find in regular sets and you can download the instructions for this set right here!
While I did say this was a complete list, I may have missed one here or there. What other sets would you add to make this list of ultimate holiday LEGO sets complete?
If you missed the first 4 parts of this series, you can read them here:

I need the instructions for the Train Holiday Ornament in a clear ball. Issued in 2018 I believe the number is 853810.
Sorry! Haven’t been able to find them online anywhere!
