Sad News - Shipping Delays with The Disney Castle

Hey folks! As you can see, some of my posts are missing images and links due to some host issues I experienced recently. I'm working through getting those corrected as quickly as I can. However, if you are looking at a page you'd like me to correct sooner rather than later, drop me a line with the title of the blog post and I will move it up in my list of fixes to make. As I mentioned earlier this week, we went to the LEGO store on Saturday for the LEGO Disney Princess Building Event. While we were there, we received some sad news. As it turns out LEGO is having shipping delays with The Disney Castle set.

If you are a VIP, you were probably expecting to pick up your very own The Disney Castle set this past Wednesday, when it was made available to all LEGO VIPs. However, LEGO made some miscalculations (or strategic plans… depending on how you look at it) and only shipped 15 sets to each store for the release day. As far as our store was concerned, they were already cleaned out by 10:30… and they only opened at 10am!

But fear not! I also have some good news… the next shipment your store receives should be more substantial. Our local store will be receiving 50 sets. You can be sure we will be picking one up.

Check with your stores, VIPs! Your mileage may vary.

And, you can always purchase The Disney Castle set online. Just make sure you sign in so you can see the “Add To Cart” button.
